Our Club relies on our wonderful volunteers, and this season we need more people to get involved! We're appealing to everyone in our Club community to think about what they can give back to the Club this year. We're not looking for big commitments - we're looking for a day, a week, a weekend of your time. Our Club survey often shows that one of the main reasons people don't volunteer is because they think they're too new to the Club, or because no one has ever asked them - so we're asking you now! It doesn't matter what age you are, how long you've been in the Club, whether you're a parent or a player...all we ask for is a bit of your time and a good dose of enthusiasm! 💚 We are looking for volunteers for the following:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Communications Secretary: compiling monthly newsletter, keeping social media updated with club happenings - this season we'll be creating a communications subcommittee to help share the work!
Fixtures Secretary: scheduling Senior match times on a monthly basis by liaising with coaches & opposition clubs, and arranging the rescheduling of fixtures as needed.
Registration Secretary: maintaining the record of Senior players registration to teams (updated weekly), registering new players with Leinster/
Fundraising Secretary: working with fundraising committee on club fundraisers, and keeping the executive committee updated.
SUB-COMMITTEES
Communications: keeping social media updated with club happenings, match photography, supporting the Communications Secretary.
Social: supporting the Social secretary with social events throughout the season e.g. Start of season BBQ, Christmas Party and Awards dinner.
Fundraising: helping to organise and run various club fundraisers throughout the season, supporting the Fundraising Secretary.
OTHER
Shed manager: keeping the shed tidy and stocked up e.g. balls, first aid.
Senior team managers (4ths, 5ths & 6ths): Supporting coaches with team organisation, and helping coaches on match days.
