Holy Child Killiney beat Newbridge College 2-0 in a well-contested game and in front of a packed stadium at UCD.
Lots of us in Muckross tuned in to the live-stream to watch the girls and we were very proud watching them represent us - there was plenty of excitement in the various team WhatsApps!
The girls play on the Senior 1sts-3rds squads in the Club, and both Hannah and Aliya have come up through our Junior section. It's very exciting to see the standard of young players moving up through the Club's ranks - the future looks bright!
Winning the Senior Cup is a fantastic achievement and a testament to a lot of hard work and dedication.
We wish them all the best in the All-Ireland Cup (Kate Russell) where they will compete against the winners of the other three provinces Cup winners.
